Creative writing group January 2017 Judi Tregillus I didn't know what was happening. I had tried to remember what I did last time, the order of things, but the more I tried the harder it became. The screen flashed! It hadn't done that before. Numbers popped up! Where had they come from? I'm sure I had pressed the correct buttons, done things in the right way, but all to no avail. Why did it always happen to me? Other people did what I had done, and it seemed to work for them. I'm sure there are some gremlins, little men sitting in there, just waiting for me. I'm sure they have a grin on their faces when things don't go as I thought they would. They must chuckle to themselves.
